Frequently Questions

We will try to briefly answer the questions that are asked to us more frequently, however if you continue with doubts do not hesitate to contact us.

Making a reservation is very simple, intuitive and fast, just by being registered to immediately start your reservation, in one of the following ways:

1st Option: Make an online reservation with confirmation and immediate payment of the reserved services (may be signaling or full payment of the reservation).

2nd Option: Request a reservation from one of our employees, subject to availability and price change.

After all services are confirmed and paid for, or flagged, you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and, if applicable, the travel documentation booked.

The entire process will be electronic, however we are always available to answer any questions through our service via phone or by email.

If the reservation is made online, once the payment process is complete, you will receive confirmation of the reserved services and travel documentation (voucher and / or airline ticket (s)) in your email box.

When the reservation is made with one of our collaborators, you will be informed, via e-mail, that there is availability to confirm the desired services. After the signal or full payment of the reservation is made, confirmation and travel documentation (voucher and / or airline ticket (s)) will be sent, via the same route.

Later, you can consult reservations, quotes and issue travel documentation in your client area.

In most cases, our suppliers charge additional fees for changes. Apart from that, Travelwings charges a fee of 25 € per person for administrative expenses.

To consult all our proposals, request quotes and subscribe to the newsletter, you do not need to be registered, however we advise you to do so as you will have access to information, promotions, campaigns and exclusive offers. To book your trip, you will have to register, which will also give you access to the customer area where, at any time and anywhere in the world, you can access your travel documents.

All the personal information you provide is to help us improve your travel purchase experience, giving us the possibility to provide you with a better service. The data you give us are entirely confidential, we will never give them to third parties and you can change or delete them at any time, under the terms of Law No. 67/98 of 26 October and under Regulation (EU) 2016 / 679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Regulation on Data Protection).

Travelwings is a travel agency that acts preferably via the Internet, so all documentation will be sent by email or placed in the customer's area.

If the customer wants physical documentation, although it is possible to send it electronically, he can obtain it as follows:

- Survey at our facilities

- Sending documentation to the indicated address (in 48 hours with an additional cost of 10 € per shipment in mainland Portugal)

- Sending documentation to the indicated address (24-hour express service with an additional cost of 25 € per shipment in mainland Portugal)

Payment must be immediate, by means of a signal, in the case of vacation packages or with full payment, in the case of booking flights, flights + hotels and hotels.

All bookings made 21 days or less from the date of departure, the total price of the trip must be paid at the time of booking.

Travelwings offers the following payment methods through its website: credit card, ATM reference, bank transfer or, if you wish, you can make payment at our office with ATM or credit card.

We do not accept payments by American Express Check or Credit Card and there may be some promotions in which we will not accept payments by credit card, however this information is always informed before making the reservation.

In some cases, for example last minute bookings, we are unable to accept payment by bank transfer, as there may not be time to confirm payment with our bank.

You can rest assured that Travelwings has all the tools to ensure maximum security in this type of payment. When making your payment you will see a symbol with a padlock that guarantees that you are on a secure page with the guarantee that your data will not be seen by third parties.

Currently making payments on the internet does not bring any problem, as long as it is a secure page like ours.

We advise you to make the payment with a credit card as it will be much faster to process the reservation since we do not need to wait for the bank transfer receipt or the communication of your ATM payment.

In some cases we cannot accept payment by bank transfer, as there may not be time to confirm payment with our bank.

Any non-conformity in the execution of a travel service included in the package travel contract must be communicated to the organizing travel agency or retailer in writing or other appropriate form as soon as such non-conformity occurs, that is, without undue delay. In the event of a claim for non-performance of the contracted services, the client may issue the deposit provided for under the terms of the legislation in force, and must submit the respective claim to Turismo de Portugal I.P within 20 working days after the end of the trip.

The right to file claims for the purpose of price reduction or the right to compensation for non-conformity of the travel services included in the package travel lapses within 2 years.
